What’s Trending in Home Decor

When I shop for home décor items, I like things with texture. Whether it's a handcrafted terracotta pot, a wooden box or a glazed tile.  One thing I didn’t catch on to this summer was the baby pink trend.

Old versus New

The designers and decorators have said “we have well and truly exhausted baby pink”. They also appear to be leaving behind “faux boho, faux rustic and faux industrial.” So, what will be we be adding to our shopping baskets this Autumn?

Timelessness is a key word from the decorators plus fresh and elegant.  They state that “classic is back” plus an earth toned colour palette. The designers say, “find items that bring personality to a room rather than one piece that ‘makes’ the room.”

The Seasons Favourites

Our seasons favourites at Palm Pot and Peony are the best-selling range of Green Leaf Pots, the classic Damask Pattern pots/keepsake boxes and our Monochrome Collection of black and white designs, not forgetting the Dinosaur. And, if you love handcrafted items that will complement and enhance a specific colour or home décor scheme, then please let us know. For your one of a kind Autumn home décor update, designs can be created especially for you and reviewed by you before the work begins on the final piece(s).
